US Coast Guard "C" School Classes 2004 For further information contact: The course descriptions are as follows: For FCs and VFCs, this 5 Day course is designed to prepare Auxiliarists for their role as newly elected flotilla level officers. The course provides leadership theory and application and covers the following subject areas: Self Awareness, Motivation, Situational Leadership, Group Development, Meeting Management, Conflict Management, and Performance Problem Solving. For FSOs-CC, SOs-CC, DSOs-CC, this 4 Day course is designed to prepare Coast Guard Auxiliary personnel for their role as Career Counselors and recruiting assistance program managers as flotilla and division staff officers. The principal goals are to augment the Coast Guard Academy admissions office, Coast Guard Personnel Command, Office of Civilian Personnel, and Coast Guard Recruiting Command. For DCPs and RCOs, this 5 Day course in the Auxiliary Leadership Training Continuum is the second in the series of three and follows AUXLAM (AUX-02). Adapted from the leadership program of the Coast Guard, it offers mid-level leadership and management skills beyond the basics, with greater emphasis and insight into problem solving and the understanding and development of people skills. For SOs-IS, DSOs-IS, this 3 Day program is designed to provide division and district information systems personnel with the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) to exercise responsibility for all matters pertaining to the collection, recording, and forwarding of the flotilla's AUXDATA information, and keep members informed of all developments in this area. Report generation and creation of ad hoc queries using AUXINFO will be reviewed using in-depth classroom hands on exercises.
